My Story

For inquiries contact [email protected]. Information and application are at www.staf.org. If you are looking for a strong independent girl with a large and in-charge personality, Lillian is the perfect choice for you! Some might even consider her to be a bit bossy with her kitty mates and demanding when she wants her canned food treats, but we know a girl wants what a girl wants! Seriously, Lillian knows that it is “all about her” and will seek attention when you give her anything she wants! We love her so very much and feel she deserves a forever home where she can be spoiled and adored. This beautiful black and white girl has been with us for several years after being rescued from the dangerous streets along with her seven kittens. We have learned that Lillian has a medical condition called feline hyperesthesia syndrome, for which she is on medication to relieve her symptoms. This is a unique syndrome which is a bit rare in cats, which Lillian appreciates as she knows she is one in a million! Lillian would do best in a low-key home as a single adored cat, as anxiety and stress can add to her hyperesthetic reaction and we want to ensure her environment suits her well. She prefers to be independent and will let you know what she finds acceptable, but in return, you will have a very special lady that deserves to be treated as the one and only! DOB 2020 Cat adoption information and application can be found at www.staf.org. All cats and kittens have been vet-checked, spayed/neutered, and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fee includes carrier, scratching pad, starter pack of food and litter, and toy. We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs. We offer free advice anytime about your adopted cat. If, for any reason, it doesn't work out, we will take the cat back, anytime in the future. Potential adopters must be interviewed in person, at the shelter, and live within 150 miles of Cincinnati. We will ask you to return to the shelter for a second visit to be sure of your decision. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or kittens! Please email Jean at [email protected] for more info. on adopting!
