Arrival story: hi there!! My name is Lilly! My original owner couldn't keep me anymore because she was going to the hospital, so I was brought to the pound in hopes I could find myself another home. Well.. I was there a long time waiting for a home, sitting in a cage, and purring at everyone that walked by my cage. Gosh, there were so many cats there!!

Since I wasn't adopted at the pound (and yikes.. it was getting overcrowded), I'm now living in a foster home with Shelter to Home Inc. Oh, how I adore being out of a cage and stretching my legs, and living in a home again with feline friends, even if it's only temporary.

Approximate age & weight: I'm 1 year old and under ALL this fur of mine, I'm only 8 pounds! My foster mom said I could stand to gain a few more pounds (or 5 !!) but to tell you the truth, I kind of lost my appetite while in the pound. I was so stressed out, wondering and hoping that someone would just take me home with them. Foster mom said she's going to "Fatten me up" now though. :)

Personality: Okay... time for me to brag!! I'm very friendly and outgoing. Did I tell you already that I LOVE other cats and kitties? Oh my ! They are my great friends. I'm kind of self-centered though; I walk around my foster home with my head held high. Not very many other cats are as beautiful as I am with my lynx-tipped ears and tuffted hair on my paws. I'm quite exquisite if you don't mind me saying.

The ideal home for this animal...: I'd like a home that appreciates me and all my fur :) I do shed in the spring and fall a lot, but I do a really good job on my own of taking care of my own coat too.

I've been spayed, vaccinated, tested for Felv/FIV, de-wormed and on flea prevention. So.. I'm all "ready to go!"
