Please Spay or Neuter Your Animals. Too many animals die in the shelter because there isn't enough homes to go around for them. See www.snap-nc.org for info on low-cost spay/neuter. Shelter adoption fee is $25 per animal plus $3 per rabies vaccine where applicable.
Phone (919) 693-6749 to speak with or leave a message for the officers. Speak clearly and leave your phone number twice - if the animal is still available, the officers WILL get back to you. Shelter hours are Monday &Thursday 10:30-2:30 and Wednesdays 11:30-4:30. The shelter is closed weekends and holidays. *----------------------------------------------------------*
The petlist is maintained by volunteers and is only updated once weekly. If you are traveling any distance, please call first to verify that the animal in question is still available.
