Lightning

Hey everyone, I'm Lightning! I'm stunning, as you can see from my pictures, and I'm well aware of it. I like to be the center of attention all the time, and I let you know if I feel neglected by running around in circles, jumping on your lap, or stepping in front of the TV or laptop. I have a LOT of energy, so I need a home that will be able to provide me with lots of attention. I love other cats, so I would love to go to a home with a friendly cat who will play with me. I spend most of my free time running around (I LOVE galloping throughout the house) and playing with various toys (noisy balls, mice). Wand toys are my favorite and sometimes when I'm really excited I'll even do little flips! I have some residual issues with my back legs from a previous disease, so I don't move around as gracefully as others, and I use little pet steps to get onto beds or high furniture. I can jump about couch height, though, and it doesn't stop me from running around and wrestling! I love to cuddle with my humans at night, and I'll get right up next to you (as close as I can) or lay on top of you! Once I've bonded with you, I will follow you everywhere in the house (literally everywhere, I will always be by your side), even if you just get up for a quick snack, because I don't like to miss out on anything. I am in an observation period after surviving FIP, so I am not available for full adoption yet, but the right person can take me home as a foster.
