Meet Big Boy! This handsome fella came to TCHS due to his previous owner no longer having the time to give him the care and attention he needs ~~Has been slightly stand-offish with staff since arrival and may take some time to warm up to new people or environments~~ BB has not met other cats or any dogs in the past, slow and proper introductions are strongly recommended with any resident pets ~~ He may need time to adjust to sharing his space with other pets ~~ He has been around various ages of children and did well ~~ Since Big Boy is front declawed, he is required to go to an indoor only home ~~ He typically sleeps in bed with his person at night ~~ He likes to play with toys but doesn't tend to care for playing with you, only on his own terms ~~ He loves treats! ~~ He was described as very talkative throughout the day and will hold a conversation with you ~~ He enjoys having multiple scratching surfaces in the home ~~ He loves to snuggle with his people and hang out on your lap ~~ He is used to a water fountain, which is great for cats since it encourages them to drink more water ~~ He had a covered litterbox in his last home ~~ This chonker lives up to his name weighing in at a whopping 16 pounds! ~~It is recommended that Big Boy has a high quality portion-controlled diet under supervision of a veterinarian to help him lose those extra pounds~~Should also have plenty of interactive toys to encourage some exercise~~This sweetie cannot wait to meet you!~~Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care ~~To military personnel, veterans and seniors-the fee would be waived ~~DEPOSITS MAY BE PLACED ON ADOPTABLE ANIMALS by calling 320-252-0896
