Few cats have more personality than LEAR. He is one special character who is both king of his domain and court jester. He plays enthusiastically with all cats, big and small, whether they are ready or not. And while most cats are graceful, LEAR is not of that variety, he is more on the clumsy side, which really just adds to his charm. He was extremely shy in the beginning but has come a long way in trusting people. He can still be a bit shy at times, but is not afraid to speak up and make his desires known. He will let you know when it's time to eat and he will let you know if he doesn't like what you serve. He will also let you know when it's time for love and affection. LEAR likes a lot of hands on attention. He is a cat with a big heart who loves to have fun, he just needs a kingdom to call his own.
LEAR was born in the fall of 2005 and has been in rescue almost his entire life. He does have chronic eye drainage, and as that part of his face is white, some days he looks a little messier than others. Nothing that a damp cloth can't fix. If you let him, LEAR will leave an impression on your heart.
