My Story

Laz is a fluffy and magnificent looking fella. He is as sweet as can be and gets along with everyone! He especially loves head scratches and ear rubs. You can pull him into your lap for snuggles and kisses. He is a curious and playful boy, who seems younger and younger every day he is with us. Laz thrives with kitty companions and does not like to be a solo cat. He acts as a "cat daddy" to all the other younger cats in his foster home. He loves to lick their heads and groom them. He also teaches them confidence and companionship! Laz was dumped on the streets in the Bronx with two other cats after his owner passed away. Laz was crying outside for food and help from anyone walking by, although he was scared and would not let the neighbors approach too closely. When he was finally rescued, he had become so sick that he could barely move and we were able to scoop him up easily. His first meal after he was rescued was wonderful to watch, especially as he stood up and chowed down. He was just so grateful! Apply to adopt Laz at bit.ly/btcradopt Or through our website http://bronxtails.org All Bronx Tails cats are spayed/neutered (when age appropriate), vaccinated, tested for Feline AIDS and Feline Leukemia (negative for both) and are litterbox reliable and loving toward people. We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit via video tour (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat(s) is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
