Laken

Laken, which means “from the lake,” was found in Weatherby Lake (the community, not the actual lake ?). He was hiding under someone’s deck trying to get out of the elements during one of our severe rain storms. He was likely dumped, as he is a friendly cat. We think he is good with other cats, but if you have pets, a slow introduction would still be necessary. Laken can be loud and vocal (in a very endearing way, of course), so “his person” would have to be tolerant of that. He’s also very curious about everything and has never met a stranger. However, once fed and curled up in his bed, he’s as tranquil and peaceful as his name implies. Laken also means “reflecting nature’s beauty,” and this pretty boy definitely fits that bill.
