Kunda

What my friends at ACC say about me: I have lived with cats. I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! Kunda is an active young cat who would benefit from increased mental and physical stimulation to appropriately direct her energy. We recommend using fishing pole-type toys as they allow for vigorous and stimulating exercise. Puzzle feeders will also keep her engaged and exercise her brain in addition to her body. A volunteer writes: Kunda's a multitasking extraordinaire with a great, big full life! Holding her tail in a perfect question mark, she came to say she can purr, walk, and talk and started asking me questions as soon as I sat down. She'd been waiting for neck scritches, could she sit on my lap, and were there any more fuzzy mice she could have? Well, talk about progress! When I first met Kunda, she was hardly front and center but rather curled up like a turtle in her beloved box. With tall sides so she could really sink in, her box allowed her to adjust to shelter life on her own timetable. Since she's been coming out of her shell, we've learned that Kunda loves to chit chat. She's also been known to fetch toys, and chase and pounce on bugs. Kunda has lived with other cats and played well with them. She's hoping you'll come into the Manhattan Care Center to meet her soon.
