LOVESSSSSS THE WAND TOY DOB 2/9/24 Hey there, everyone! I'm Kiwi, a sweet, gentle brown tabby gal who runs up to greet Foster Meowmy when she enters my foster room because I want her to pick me up and cuddle me. When Foster Meowmy sits down, I snuggle up to her thigh or plop up on her lap. That's when I turn on my loud purr motor or lick her hand when she pets me and scratches my cheeks, chin, and ears. I'm a smart kid who comes when Foster Meowmy calls my name. I'm one of the few kitties who likes it when she carries or holds me. I'm so relaxed that I melt and mold into her arms like a rag doll - or actually a slippery, limp noodle. I love it when we cuddle under the blankets. Foster Meowmy and I make great playmates! Sometimes I toy with her long hair or very gently bunny-kick when I wrestle with her hand, but it's to show my delight at her gentle touch. We have a lot of fun playing interactively as I frantically chase strings and the feather wand toy when she waves it around me. To wrap up our play sessions, I may purr like a perking coffeepot when I slurp the Churu squeezable treats off her finger. You see, I'm a solo kitten with no birth momma or littermates in my foster home -- and not because I'm an orphan. I was living in a backyard in Foster Meowmy's neighborhood with a colony of community cats. I was the only kitten in my litter who was friendly, brave, and curious enough to approach hoomans. Because Foster Meowmy could offer me a much better life as a pampered indoor pet, she scooped me up and brought me home to prepare me for adoption. I get along great with the momma cat and her five kittens who share the foster room with me, and they have replaced my birth family who's still living outdoors. When I'm exhausted from tumbling and pouncing with the kits, I enjoy sleeping in the cat tree and gazing out the window at the wildlife that scampers, crawls, and flies by.
