I'm an affectionate, loving cat who is as sweet as can be. I've had a hard life and I'm looking for a home where I can have a chance to heal. My story is so sad it could be a country song. I was badly bullied by adult cats before I was 8 weeks old. I was then adopted and returned several times for various reasons. I seem to be a target for bullying so would do best in a home with no other cats, or cats who are exceptionally friendly and patient with other cats. I'm initially very scared of cats (can you blame me?), but one of my foster mom's cats was gentle and patient with me, and now I don't mind when he visits. My foster mom strongly advises that I start out in a small space. I get scared if I have too much space and then I don't use the litterbox. I've been living in my foster mom's bathroom and I've done great in here. I've been a good girl with my litterbox and I'm very content. My foster mom will often leave the bathroom door open for hours at a time. Once in a while I'll explore close by, but most of the time I'm content to stay in the bathroom. Foster mom thinks that if I were a human I'd have something called 'Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.' I believe my forever family is out there, but I'll need a lot of help to find them! All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home. Our adoption fees: Kittens (under 6 months): $150 (or 2 for $225) Adults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100) Seniors (8 years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60) All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped.
