"Kitty", a 7-year old sable (brown) Burmese, was a faithful and affectionate companion to her 87 year old owner who suffered from Alzheimers. Her final act of dedication to her owner was to let the nurse know that Dorothy had passed away. When Dorothy died in her sleep, "Kitty" awoke the nurse up and insisted that she check on her.
She's a gentle lap cat who likes to snuggle under a blanket with her owner. She's never been about other cats, dogs, men or children. She's the perfect cat for an elderly or disabled person. She loves affection and has no health issues.
This indoor-for-life Kitty is spayed, current on her shots and tests negative for feline luekemia. Early in her life, she was checked for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) and tested negative. However, because she has received the FIV vaccine, she tests mild positive, and will for life. But she doesn't have the disease. (According to Cornell Feline Health Center, " (FIV) vaccination may have an impact on future FIV test results.")
Please give this special little protector a home and someone to care for.
