KITTENS! KITTENS!

Happy Summer! Kitten Season is in full swing again and we need to make room to get Moms and kittens (and older kitties too!) so we can get them fixed and find them homes! Please consider adopting- especially some of our older residents! Remember you save TWO cats lives and make countless more cats & kittens lives better by adopting! When you adopt one cat, it makes room to save another! Win! Win! The kitties thank you too! Kittens!! We have kittens! Lots and lots of kittens! We have so many kittens and they all need their forever homes! We have spayed females and neutered males kittens, all up to date on shots, most 3 months old and available for adoption to be indoor ONLY kittens from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Northwest Indiana! Kitten season always brings lots of adorable kittens that need homes! We have lots of adult cats that need homes also, but everyone wants a kitten! Everyday we receive multiple requests from people asking for help to take moms & kittens, but we don't have anymore room until we can get (serious) homes for the kittens we already have. Our fosters have kittens too, so we can't help anymore cats & kittens until you help us by adopting or letting potential adopters know about our kittens available for adoption! These babies are out of this world cute and three purrrfect little mini panther siblings! One was adopted, so these last two would LOVE to find a home together!! MILKY WAY (male) Milky Way is a short haired, black mini panther, a neutered male and about 3 months old. Milky Way is the biggest of the cosmic kittens and that makes him the big brother, since he is the only boy. Milky Way loves playing hard and sleeping hard! We think he is going to be a cuddler too! This sweet boy was found outside as a kitten and brought to the shelter for a better life! He is cute, energetic, soft, loves pets and cuddles and to be babied. He is about 3 months old and would love a home with one of his siblings! NEBULA (female) Nebula is a short haired black mini panther, spayed female, up to date on her shots and about 3 months old. She is a cute & tiny sweetheart! She is the smallest of the Cosmic Kittens and the sibling of Milky Way & Andromeda. Nebula might be tiny but she has the sweetest purrrsonality! She loves playing with her mousey, eating wet food and getting pets! This little baby was found outside with her siblings and was brought inside to find a home. She is about 3 months old now and would love a home with one of her siblings! **ADOPTED** ANDROMEDA (female) Last brother of the 3 bean kittens left! This poor boy needs a home! PINTO BEAN (male) Vanilla bean is a short haired, black & white neutered male, up to date on his shots and about 4 months old.This poor little bean is bored since his other bean brothers, Cocoa Bean & Vanilla have found homes and he hasn't. Pinto bean would like a home ASAP! He is a purrrfect kitten mix of 1 part playing, 1 part sleeping, .5 part eating and 1.5 part cuddling. He loves pets, live and cuddles!! Pinto bean was found outside and brought inside so he could get the home he deserves. PIXIE (female) Pixie is a short haired grey & white tuxie spayed female, up to date on her shots and about 3 months old. Pixie is the sweetest girl! This little girl just wants to be held all the time! This is your chance to have the cutest velcro kitten ever! She loves attention and just wants love! She purrs are so loud, her purrs will soothe all your worries and cares away! This little dear was found outside by herself and was brought inside to have a better life. She is about 3 months old now & wants a home! BRENDA & BURT (siblings) BRENDA Brenda is a medium haired grey & white spayed female, up to date on her shots and about 4 months old. Brenda has the cutest kitten face ever! On top of that, just like her brother Burt, she loves playing hard and sleeping hard. Brenda also loves cuddling, getting pets and being talked to! This purrrrecious little one was found outside with her sibling Burt and was brought inside to find a home. She is about 4 months old now and would love a home with one of her siblings! BURT (male) Burt is a short haired, black & white tuxedo male, up to date on his shots and about 4 months old. Burt has a sister named Brenda ( grey & white) Need a little crazy kitten in your life? Burt is ready to fill that role! Burt loves playing, climbing and running but only for a short time and then the sleepy kitten kicks in and it's nap time! Burt would love to nap in your lap, or on your head! Anywhere just to be close to you! Burt loves all attention whether it's time to play or sleep! This sweet boy was found outside and brought inside with his sister Brenda so he could get the home he has always wanted! He is a little older kitten but still lots of kitten in him and would love a home ASAP! The Berry kittens! These TWO little sisters ( Blueberry was adopted!) are naturally "berry" sweet! RASPBERRY (female) Raspberry is a short haired black & white tuxie spayed female, up to date on her shots and about 3 months old. Raspberry's sisters are Blueberry and Blackberry and they are all sweet little girls! Raspberry is a purrrfect little kitten girl! Her favorite thing is cuddling, followed by playing and eating. She has purrrfect little white pawsies and wears a little tuxedo of white around her neck which she keeps clean all the time! She loves being held and is just soooo cute! This purrrrecious tuxie was found outside with her siblings and was brought inside to find a home. She is about 3 months old now and would love a home with one of her siblings! BLACKBERRY (female) Blackberry is a short haired black minipanther spayed female, up to date on her shots and about 3 months old. Blackberry's sisters are Blueberry and Raspberry and they are all sweet little girls! Blackberry can be a little shy at first, but once you pet her, she will purr her way into your heart! She loves to play with all her toys, eat a little and then a quick nap and repeat! She is such a little cutie and hopes she won't be the last of her siblings to be adopted because of the color of her fur. This baby panther was found outside with her siblings and was brought inside to have a better life. She is about 3 months old now and would love a home with one of her siblings! BLUEBERRY -ADOPTED! *************************************** Please remember, a kitten is a serious commitment, please only inquire if you are willing to provide a forever home for these kittens. We prefer that you adopt two kittens together since it's better for the kittens to have a playmate, but we will make exceptions on a case by case basis. Every cat or kitten you adopt saves TWO lives - the one you're adopting AND the next one we can take in off the streets! It's a win win!! We worked hard to get these kittens off the streets to curb the homeless cat population, but there are always more and more kittens being born outside- sadly some of whom don't make it. This is a problem we can work on together though! You can help end the senseless suffering of cats and kittens if you remember to: Adopt Foster Volunteer Donate Adopt-ALWAYS adopt from a rescue or shelter! Please spread the word and tell your friends and family to adopt too! Adopt don't shop!! Foster- Fostering really saves lives!! We are always in need of fosters for cats & kittens! All you need is a little room like a bathroom for the fosters and some time to get the kitties to adoption events! Volunteer-If you notice stray cats around an area try to help by getting them spayed & neutered! Check for low cost spay/neuter and vaccine clinics in your neighborhood ( or contact us for more info) and spread the word that fixing your cat helps end the cycle of cats having litters and litters of kittens that suffer outside or need homes. Donate- your time, supplies or money to Shelters and Rescues so they can continue to help homeless cats & kittens and support fosters. Food, litter, surgeries and medical supplies cost money and so many kitties need help! Make an appointment to meet any of these cute kittens at the shelter or at PetSmart in Schereville today! Our fosters & volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to get them used to being pet and to show them no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider this when adopting!
