My Story

Hello - I'm Hazel. My three siblings and I were about 2-3 weeks old when we came to SBACC with our Mama. We were rescued from an abandoned car and that may be where Mama gave birth to us. We had one more sib who didn't survive and Mama had no milk left so she stayed at SBACC and the rest of us went to a foster home. We spent many weeks at our foster home, where we were syringe-fed for a short while until we learned to eat on our own and started to play. Boy, have we played! I love playing with the mouse on a string, anything that moves, and the resident cats. There was also a big dog in our foster home and we were OK with him. I am the explorer of my litter once I get used to my surroundings. I may come off as a bit shy, but after I get to know you, I will be your best buddy. I would be ok in a home by myself if I had a human to play with me, but I would prefer to be adopted with one of my siblings, or another cat for company. I'm with my sister, Harper, in one pic and all three of my sibs in another.
