Despite lots of love and socialization I have received, I am very shy and timid, especially with new people and new environments. I need patience when meeting new people as this is very scary to me. I need my hiding space that I can go to when feeling overwhelmed; otherwise, I am known to growl when I feel scared and exposed. Due to my timid nature, I would be happiest with someone who is more of a homebody in a calm house without young kids and other pets, where I can come out of my shell. I am in need of someone very gentle and patient who understands that in the beginning, going to a new home with a new person is going to be very hard for me. I will hide a lot in the beginning, but with patience, I am able to learn that you are a friend. Once I am comfortable, I do love attention and cuddles and I have a very playful personality. I love chasing a laser light and I will find little treasures around the house to leave on your bed (hair ties, cat toys, and anything small that might be on the ground). I'm fully litter-trained and I don't have any bad habits like clawing furniture. I've also been neutered and microchipped.
