Kika (bonded with Kiki)

Kika Male from Maui Birthdate Aug 10 2023 Loves other cats and our giant barking howling husky Not accustomed to children but would do very well with respectful kids Bonded to sister Kiki Kika is the orange boy with delicate white gloves and all pink toebeans - a little shy when around new people, but once he warms up he's an absolute lovebug attention seeker. A couple of his favorite treats as a bribe can really speed up his bonding to new people - he's very food motivated. When he walks in the room and sees his fave people, his tail shoots straight up and he purrs so hard it feels like his motor will rumble right off. He enjoys greeting people by standing up on his hind legs with his hands on your knees (or back/shoulders if you're sitting down) asking for uppies. He'll gladly just sit in your arms or on your shoulder like a baby being carried around the house. I've put him in a baby bjorn and he's totally cool with it! When being set down he looks back up like "why no love me anymore?" Adorable. His favorite spots to sleep are curled up on your lap on the sofa (especially if you have a fuzzy blanket) or in a round plush bed grooming with Kiki or one of the other cats in the foster house. He loves being next to the dog also, but Kika attacks his big fluffy husky tail a little too often, so the dog usually gives up the bed if Kika comes too close. Sometimes he's indecisive about whose lap to choose and whoever grabs him first wins. He just plops down in whatever awkward position he lands in and purrs from the attention until he falls asleep.
