Keegan

Keegan is very handsome orange tabby boy with gorgeous green eyes. He was originally TNR'd but it became apparent shortly after he was released that he wanted to be an indoor cat. Keegan started running into any open door in the neighborhood that he could get through. Not long after being released Keegan showed up with a very swollen ear which looked extremely painful. The neighbors reached out to the rescue for help. How could we say no to that adorable face. Keegan was relieved to be indoors and getting help for his painful ear. He was taken to the vet immediately where he had surgery for an ear hematoma. Keegan did well with the surgery and was such a trooper wearing the e collar for 3 weeks. Keegan definitely was someone's pet because he is such a friendly kitty. He loves to be petted and does not mind being held. He gets along with the other cats but is definitely not a fan of dogs. He possibly had a bad encounter with a dog during his time outdoors. We will never know what Keegan dealt with in his time outdoors but we feel it was not pleasant...He would do best in a home without small children and without dogs. Keegan is about 3 years old( as of 3/1/24), up to date on vaccinations, neutered and negative for FIV and FeLV.
