Hi, meet Katee. She came to CFA as a young mom with kittens. The kittens have been adopted and Katee is now looking for her forever home. She is still a kitten at heart who loves to play. She's friendly, lovable, and will seek you out for attention. Once on your lap you can pet and feel her silk coat. Great with children but prefers to be an only cat. No history with dogs.
Katee is Feline Immunodeficiency (FIV) positive, meaning she has weakened immune system. Cats with FIV can live long happy lives with good nutrition and yearly vet checkups.
CFA note: FIV is not contagious to humans or dogs. Recent studies show FIV is contagious to other cats only through a deep bite wound. Katee lives among the other residents of CFA, sharing the same food and water bowls, and litter boxes.
