My Story

Meet Katara, an easygoing kitty who loves fun. She never gets sick of playing, whether it's with a ball, a laser, or a mouse toy on a string. While her energy is unmatched, she is also a respectful lady who doesn't zoom at all hours of the night or knock items off counters. She loves to be pet (and will headbutt you until she gets her way!) and is a great couch and bed companion, though she's not a fan of being picked up or prolonged cuddling -- we all need our personal space sometimes! She's comfortable both with people and on her own. She can be a shy girl at first but will warm up to any visitor after a day. Because of her playful energy and lack of aggression (other than the occasional playful nip), Katara could do well in a household with children. Katara has a corneal scar in her right eye from her time as a colony cat, but it doesn't seem to impact her balance, coordination, or toy mouse hunting abilities. This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
