Kashi is under 2 years of age, but found herself on the streets trying to survive. Thankfully she had been spayed so she didn't get pregnant while she was outside all alone, but it must have been really tough to survive. She has a somewhat feisty nature which may well have been what she needed to take care of herself out in the world. Now she is safe at the shelter and she is slowly starting to simmer down. She certainly isn't looking for laps or pets just yet, but her open hostility has faded away. Because she is so young still, we do hope that given enough time and TLC, Kashi may indeed decide that people are her friends. We will take care of her for as long as it takes for someone to take a chance on this gal, whoever she turns out to be.
Kashi must definitely be an indoor only cat. She would not be suitable for a household with children.
