Let us introduce you to one of our amazing black cats in the rescue. Kascade is practically perfect in all ways. Despite being nearly perfect, Kascade has been returned twice, through no fault of her own. The first time she was returned was because the humans were not committed to being a forever home. The second time was because the family's cat was tormenting her nonstop. Her foster mom has determined that Kascade is one of the most wonderful cats she's ever had the pleasure of fostering in almost 8 years. She is sweet, loving, fun and has the cutest personality. She loves following her foster mom from room to room and will come lay on her desk while her mom works. She loves sleeping under the covers next to her foster mom, so much that she will stand next to her foster mom’s shoulder and gently meow until the covers are lifted up for her to go under. Kascade is not a very large cat but looks bigger than she is. She loves playing with feather toys and small little balls she can pick up. Her favorite toy is her little worm and she always has it with her! She's very quiet and gets along with everyone. She has very good household manners, is very good with all the other animals, and is very loving with every human she meets. In the middle of the night, she will sneak under the covers and curl up in the crook of her mom's shoulder for nighttime cuddles. Kascade has a very gentle disposition and truly deserves a family who will love her with all their heart. She is truly a delight and a ray of black sunshine! She would be the perfect companion for an older person since she is so gentle and laid back. ** She needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on and toys to play with. She MUST always have her worm! She needs family who will give her lots of love, attention and playtime. ** She does great with other cats and cat-friendly dogs after proper introductions.
