Judy was discovered wandering near the tree line of HSDC's property by one of our teen volunteers who was out walking dogs. Upon examination, it became clear she was lactating, indicating she likely had babies somewhere nearby. We released her so she could reunite with them. Staff members and our TNR lead searched tirelessly and eventually spotted four tiny, two-week-old kittens! Judy had done an admirable job protecting them. The entire family was brought indoors for care, and a compassionate foster family offered Judy a cozy environment to raise her babies. Judy has completed her maternal duties and is now ready to enjoy her life as a playful, loving companion.
