It’s your beloved shelter hallway greeter, Juanita, here! I’m taking a quick break from my vital duties to grab a nibble and to share why I’d love to be promoted from shelter resident to the queen of your heart.
I have been holding down the fort at the SPCA for a year and a half now, and I’ve loved every minute of spreading joy and cheer to all who pass through these shelter doors. My goal has always been to ensure every person feels genuinely welcomed, and if they depart with a smile, I deem that the ultimate success.
But ultimately, there is a little voice inside that keeps whispering, “You may not have been chosen today, Juanita, but tomorrow may be different.” So I continue to pour my heart into being the best version of me, hoping that one day fate will bring me face to face with my forever human.
If you are that paws-atively amazing person I’ve been searching for, please contact the SPCA or stop in to apply for me. You can bet you’ll see me approaching you as soon as you walk into the kitty side of the shelter. I cannot wait to meet you, my best friend!
