Hi, I'm Josie and I was born on 3/11/07. Five of us, along with our mommy, were rescued. Now there's only three of us left...me and my brothers, Max and Toby. I've had a pretty hard life so far. I was the smallest in my litter and I got very sick...I almost died, but a wonderful foster mommy bottle fed me and saved me. But then Max and I got a virus in our eyes and we both ended up with damaged right eyes. We can see just fine, but our eyes look different from other cats, and they get weepy sometimes. You know how people sometimes are when they're around others who look "different.". Some people stare at us and whisper, and it makes us very sad. It would make you weepy, too. I want to cry out and tell them that we're not sick anymore. We're not contagious, and our eyes may get better in time. You don't have to give us medicine, either. ..... I'm a super sweet, soft, and gentle baby, and I have my wild moments, too. I love to be held, and I have a quiet little voice that I use when I want to be picked up. One of my favorite things to do is to be picked up and put on the bathroom counter so that I can drink water from the faucet and then play for awhile in the sink. ............Oh, and my other favorite thing is to play when my foster mommy is trying to use the computer. I'm getting quite good at email! ... Max and I would love to be adopted together, but even if you would like just one of us, please contact our foster mommy at [email protected]. I might even be the one to check the email! .......I can't wait to get my fur-ever home with someone who understands that looks can be deceiving.
