My Story

Poor Joshua is just a big marshmellow boy who was found abandoned in a neighborhood, beat up, hungry and just looking for someone to love him. The nice woman that found him brought him to the shelter and gave a generous donation to have him taken care of. Not suprisingly, Joshua tested positive for FIV. But the good news is, FIV is not a death sentence. Many cats live a normal lifespan with this virus. The virus over years can weaken a cats immune system. FIV cats must be kept indoors and fed a higher quality cat food to keep them healthy. No special treatments or medicines are required for this virus. Although, some choose to give vitamins to help boost the immune system. FIV is a CAT ONLY virus and is transmitted via deep bite wounds.

Joshua is about 5 years old with many good years ahead of him. He would be best as an only cat or with another FIV kitty. He doesn't seem to fond of dogs. Joshua has been neutered and vaccinated. THERE WILL BE NO FEE TO THE RIGHT HOME.
