Jojo is a spayed female cat, approximately 10 years old.
She is very sweet and friendly once she has time to get to know you. She seems cuddly and enjoys being petted and getting attention.
After being returned to our rescue, Jojo spent some time getting used to her foster home, she did hid for the first week or two. Then her foster family found that Jojo is a very friendly, curious cat. She likes to explore her foster home, look out the window, and climb to high places, like book and storage shelves. Her favorite spot to sleep is on a huge cat bed on the top shelf.
She seems to be fine with other friendly cats. She is friendly and curious about them. She is a talker and will cry to get your attention. Like the game, Marco Polo, she wants you to find her.
Jojo also has the habit of flopping over right in front of you, so it pays to pay attention when Jojo is around. She really enjoys being petted and does not mind her belly being touched. Overall, she just wants to be were you are and watch what you are doing. She appears to use the litterbox well in her foster home.
Jojo was returned to us after she developed some anxiety and seemed to be sensitive to changes in her home environment. She started to inappropriately urinate outside her litter box when she is stressed about something in her previous home or has a recent change. (She was terrified of the valentine day balloons.)
Jojo needs a somewhat quiet home with very light traffic and preferably as an only pet, however she seems to do alright with other friendly, respectful cats. She may actually get lonely and having another cat as a companion eases that loneliness.
Medical Waiver: On 9/11/2020, Jojo was diagnosed with Eosinophilia Granuloma. She was given a steroid injection that lasts a month. This may be a reoccurring condition due to allergens in the environment and she may need to be on small doses of prednisone during her lifetime. Here is a great article to learn more about Eosinophilia Granulomas in cats:

She has not had a flare up in four years.
She is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, negative for FIV&felv, and has been treated for parasites.
Her adoption fee is $175.
