Johnny

Please note: Johnny is FIV +. Contrary to popular belief, cats that are FIV+ can live full and normal lives! FIV affects the immune system and isn't contagious to people. It's spread through hard bites, but it's not transmitted through the air. These are the words from the Good Samaritan who cared for Johnny. We couldn't say it any better. "I rescued Johnny in my neighborhood but I'm only allowed one pet in my apartment. He's been bouncing around ever since. Just waiting for a chance to get into the right home. I'm really glad you guys are giving him the opportunity. I've been watching him in my neighborhood for over a year. He's the only feral (read "outside" as he is very friendly) over here that is interested in people and tries to get inside people's homes - really funny about it - a real trickster! He got in my car last year and gave me ome love until he saw the snacks in my backseat, went tearing across the parking lot with a bag around his head. I'm pretty sure his owners left him behind when they moved." At FUR Johnny is very sweet and loving. Since he is FIV positive he cannot associate with the other cats or roam freely as they do. He is lonely and needs his second chance. Please spread the word about Johnny!
