My Story

Meet Jimmy Carter! Like the former president, he suffered a broken pelvis. Jimmy (the cat) was found after being hit by a car. The vet was cautious about his recovery as Jimmy’s ilium had separated from the sacrum, causing concern that nerve damage could prevent defecation. James was on bed rest and observation for 12 weeks and, thankfully, he’s healed up perfectly! This once scared, limping, shy feral boy is now a ball of happy fluff. Though he doesn’t do much during the day but comfortably gaze out the window, he’s a mess of spins and meows for meal time. He’s learning that brushies are amazing and truly enjoying his life. Jimmy is a big silly sweetheart who does well with our other residents. He can be shy initially with new folks, but still accepts pets. He’d do great in a single-cat home with a family to faun over him with great spoils. He deserves it. **** Brozanski for Cats believes that no cat should be left outside. We work to find homes for feral cats and kittens by partnering with local TNR programs. With patience, care, and socialization, cats considered "unadoptable" can become wonderful friends and family members. All of our adoptees are TNRH rescues, saved from a life outdoors and are ready for a loving home.
