Jewel is an absolute sweetheart. She mostly likes to simply be, whether it's sitting right next to her person, finding a safe cave to sleep in, or cozying up in a soft blanket.
She has a playful spirit that comes and goes in spurts. Her favorite is to try to catch birds and squirrels on Cat TV. She also likes to catch flying wand toys with feathers on the end. She would love to have a window perch to watch wildlife or, even better, a screened porch/catio. likes to bat small mice around and to catch wand toys with feathers on the end.
She's an indoor only cat and gets scared when it rains/thunders outside. She'll hide in a cave or her special safe space.
In addition to having expressive, beautiful eyes and soft fur, Jewel also has a very sweet meow and strong purr. She loves to be pet on her terms and will allow you to pick her up for short amounts of time.
If you are someone who also likes to have a loving presence in the form of a cat around without needing a full-time cuddly cat, Jewel just may be the feline companion for you!
