Jerry

Hiiii! My name is Jerry, and I am 6 years old. I'm just a cool guy who loves food, loves to eat, and did I mention treats?!? I always lived outside in Sharpstown (Houston Neighborhood) in Harris County. Until on day I saw a nice lady in my neighborhood. I approached her nicely to ask for help, because I wasn't finding enough food recently and I had gotten into a big fight with some Tomcat . I had big wounds all over my legs that were starting to hurt and swell. Anyway, I got in her bag, and she took me to the vet for care. But man, I think she misunderstood home much help I wanted, because those veterinarians really went at me. I was poked and prodded and all that. But after about a week or so my leg wounds looked great, and I started to gain lots of weight. Like a lot of weight! The lady took me to her house and would feed me this delicious pate whenever I wanted. It's pretty cool here, but I have to stay in my own room, because apparently I'm not the only cat she is helping right now. It's okay with me though, I'm a pretty mellow guy and as long as I have a soft place to rest and some scrumptious food, I do ok with my day. She even has this cool poop box which has made using the bathroom so easy! I would like to have my own house one day and maybe a person who can spend a little more time with me. I like it when people pet me and sit with me. I usually like to lay next to them. If you are nice like this lady but have a bigger space than my room, maybe you would want to be my friend.
