Jax is a handsome tabby boy with a marbled cape on white and symmetrical facial markings. At just a year old, Jax is dealing with his moderate cerebellar hypoplastic condition like a superhero, cape or no cape! The head tremors has diminished as he matures, and he can manage to walk, sometimes run or pounce on his siblings if he is feeling frisky! He eats and drinks standing up, but must lie down while in the litter box. Jax has no conception that he is different or incapable, so he trucks along doing all things kitten, playing, wrestling, snuggling and loving. Jax responds to sweet talks and comes when his people call. He is super affectionate and loves nothing better than cuddling close to his humans, purring and sleeping close to their heart.
Cats with cerebellar hypoplasia live normal happy lives with families who understand their challenges and appreciate the unique joy these kitties bring. Jax is looking forward to finding his people and another kitty to be best friends with, or maybe one of his siblings? He is all set to wobble his way into your affection and heart, ready whenever you are!
Here is just one of many resources providing information on CH cats: https://www.catchat.org/index.php/blog/1982-wobbly-cats-what-is-cerebellar-hypoplasia.
Jax has 3 siblings, Jules, Joya and Jade all similarly afflicted to varying degrees.
