My Story

*** If you have any questions or would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, email [email protected]. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response. This stunning girl is Jasmine Cassatt - she was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky with her four kittens when they were only a few days old. They all made their way to NAWS and were placed in one of our wonderful foster homes where Jasmine could safely and comfortably raise her kittens. Now that her kittens are old enough to find homes, it is time for this sweet mama to also find her happily ever after. According to her foster, Jasmine was a wonderful, patient and nurturing mama. She likes people and enjoys attention. She likes other cats and is playful. She is going to be an amazing addition to a home. Want to help care for her while she waits to find her forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as her food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives! All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat. Please complete and submit the application electronically on our website at http://www.nawsus.org.
