If a human title would be given to January, it would be Room Mom. She is respected a likes by all the cats that are put into Molly’s Room. She used to be shy and stay up high when visitors came, but in recent months, she has made her way to the floor for some attention and human interactions. Not only is she welcoming the human hand, but all the cats seem to enjoy her as well. She is the “room mom” to all her feline friends. Jaden, the orange cat, is a littler mate and can often be found snuggling with January. Lotus was added to the room and spends time with January as well. Even Tennessee Tuxedo, who is extremely shy comes to the floor for some attention from humans when January is around.
Although we people of the Midwest associate the word January with ice cold, January is anything but cold-hearted. She is gentle, loving, and everyone’s friend.
