COME AND KNOCK ON MY DOOR…I AM WAITING FOR MEW! REMEMBER THE SHOW “THREE’S COMPANY”? WELL THAT’S WHERE “JANET” AND HER SISTER, “CHRISSY” AND HER BROTHER, “JACK” GOT THEIR NAMES. JANET IS READY TO FIND A FOREVER HOME! SHE IS NOW AT THE MONTECITO PET SHOP Janet is about as cute as kittens get. But her life could have been very short! She was only two days old when she “knocked on our door” at RESQCATS. She was scheduled to be euthanized when on of our wonderful fosters learned about her and her siblings, Jack and Chrissy. It takes dedication, patience and love to raise kittens from such a young age. The commitment to feed every 2-3 hours in the beginning days is tough. And then there is weaning them onto canned food and eventually kibble. Janet’s foster had her for almost eight weeks. Janet arrived full of personality because of all the love she had. She is playful and doesn’t meet a stranger. She would be great with other cats (maybe even a sibling or two!) And she would do well with a cat friendly dog and kids. She has adorable markings…those white cheeks and strategically places black chin just really get me. And LONG whiskers top it off. Janet has had a vet exam and is tested for Felv/FIV. She is also wormed, had her first FVRCP vaccinations and is spayed and microchipped. She can be adopted through RESQCATS at The Montecito Pet Shop on the Mesa at 2020 Cliff Drive in Santa Barbara. Adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 10-3. The number for the shop is (805) 965-6780.
