Jake and Marmalade

Do you have room in your heart for this "odd couple"? They are a bonded pair looking for a home together! Jake is a solid tank of a cat, probably 7-10 years old, who is extremely outgoing and social with everyone. He loves petting and treats and will meow at you until he gets attention. He's even ok with being help upside down like a baby. He needs to lose the weight he gained in foster care! Marmalade is 1-2 years old and very playful and active. She is shy compared to Jake but loves petting and she will head butt you even after just meeting you. She loves to chase toys and wrestle with Jake. Both cats were living as strays in Fulton and were rescued by a kind business owner who saw them in the parking lot. Marmalade was very sick and almost died from an infection in her uterus called pyometra. Thankfully she was able to get an emergency spay to save her life. Jake had many painful missing and broken teeth and recently had dental surgery to fix all of his teeth. He now has no front teeth at all and is doing great! These two kitties love each other dearly and are always wrestling, grooming each other, and burbling. Marmalade absolutely adores Jake and he likes to be her protector (and steal her food).
