Jade is oh, so helpful. If you neglect to give her a pet when you walk by, she will simply extend her paw as a gentle reminder – more of an invitation – to stop and give her tons of love. She knows you meant to love on her, but just forgot. She will absorb as much love as you want to give and she will give it right back. She loves love. You will know when Jade is happy because she’ll make adorable squeaky noises, dance about, and even roll around to prove it to you! Like a lot of cats, she prefers to be cuddled while she’s on all fours or lying down; she is not a fan of being picked up. Catnip, wand toys and the top perch of her cat tree are her favorite things. She’s about 10 months old and a gorgeous black beauty, but we think she’s been overlooked because she only has one good eye. It doesn’t hold her back and will not be a problem going forward, but she looks different. And that’s okay! We know that one of you will be happy to give this perfectly imperfect girl a good life full of love.
