Irish

IRISH is a very special cat that is in much need of someone with a big heart. He has not had an easy life and the staff at CAT are very hopeful that this will soon change for him. Irish came to CAT from another shelter with a fractured back leg. Unfortunately, the hospital staff was unable to save his leg and in order to save his life, his leg had to be removed. What initially caused his injury is unknown. So far, Irish has been coping well with three legs.

Despite his handicap and his struggles, Irish is a very loving cat with a calm demeanor. You can see in his eyes that he so desperately wants a home with someone that will care for him and love him. He understands what giving is all about and he will absolutely give his heart to the person that takes him home. Irish has gone through a lot and now deserves a place where he will be loved unconditionally. When you meet him, you will realize that both his heart and soul are pure gold.

Irish has smoke colored fur (although the pictures make his fur look black) that is medium to long in length. He has a bushy tail akin to that of a squirrel. When you first see him, he reminds you of a fluffy stuffed teddy bear. He loves to have his coat brushed and by looking at his face during the process, you start to think that this is his form of a heavenly massage.

Irish deserves a good home where he can live out his life happily. He has been through so much hardship that being comfortable and loved would truly be a luxury for him. Taking him home will most definitely be a rewarding experience.
