I'm a pretty kitty

Hello! My name is Wallflower! I was rescued by Shelter to Home from an over-crowded animal shelter. I had a litter of kittens while at the shelter and they all have found homes through Shelter to Home. Now it is my turn!

I am a loving, constant companion. I enjoy being cradled like a baby (see my pic). I love to sleep with my foster mom at night. I also nap in the recliner with my foster mom if she has a soft blanket on her lap. I love sitting next to her on the couch while she watches tv and I often will sit on the back of the sofa and try to "groom" my foster mom's hair! I get along fine with other cats but I'm not sure how I am with dogs (none in my foster home).

My favorite toy is a blue wool mouse. I carry it around and drop it on the floor in front of my foster mom so she will toss it and I can chase after it. I'm a cat that likes to play fetch! I like chasing the red dot from a laser pen too! like playing with other toys as well.

I like a quiet, calm home. Sudden movements and loud noises scare me. My foster mom has taken me to some adoption events but I get really frightened and curl up into a ball. I am so scared of the loud noises, people constantly walking by, and the strange smells from other animals. Nobody asks about me or wants to pet me even though I'm so pretty. I would likely hide for a few days when I go to my forever home. I would also likely hide when guests come to visit. Not all of us can be life-of-the-party extroverts! I am a wallflower after all!!

I have been spayed, tested negative for Feline HIV/Leukemia, received my annual vaccinations including rabies, and received flea and deworming medicine. Love, Wallflower
