HURLEY

HURLEY was found as a stray, living on the streets in town with his bestie Happy. HURLEY is a year old and is a short-haired orange tiger. Even though his coat is short and Happy's is long, he may be Happy's littermate. Regardless of whether they are brothers or not, they definitely seemed to be a bonded pair. HURLEY is the more outgoing little boy of the two and seems to be adjusting to shelter life. HURLEY, though nervous at first, now greets the volunteers when they come in. He likes to be petted and scratched a bit, but he is still a little shy. HURLEY likes to play with toys and doesn't mind the other cats. It will be fun to watch him come out of the scared kitty stage and just be a young cat. Hopefully he can convince HAPPY to join him and play like one year old kittens should! HURLEY is slowly understanding that he is safe. But as much as the volunteers at the shelter love taking care of the cats, it is not a home. HURLEY deserves a home with people who will be patient and will give him time to adjust and trust. He needs a warm bed, lots of toys, places to climb high, food, and although the boys don't seem as reliant on one another as they had been, if there's room, maybe HAPPY could come with him?
