My Story

Hope, aka "Hopely", is a 2 year old, beautiful grey, spayed female! Hope was impounded at the shelter in near-death condition. She was extremely underweight and severely anemic. When she entered our rescue she was hospitalized at our vet for several weeks, working to get her in good condition and bring her back to health. She received a life saving blood transfusion and was also treated for ringworm. She has been doing wonderful ever since! Hope has an amazing personality! She is a silly girl and is very sweet. She is pretty independent, but also loves to be pet and receive attention. Hope is being fostered with other cats and gets along well, but ever since we rescued her she has had the weird habit of growling at other cats (not in an aggressive or threatening way). Other cats typically just ignore her, and she has cat friends she plays with at times, so she would be fine in a home with another understanding cat, or a home without other cats. Hope loves to stand on her hind legs like a bear and gently tap your hands with her paws for attention. If you are looking to add a silly girl to your home, Hope might be the perfect fit!
