My Story

Holly is a domestic short haired, brown tabby, petite spayed female young adult cat with an estimated date of birth of late May 2022. Holly was rescued from a hoarding situation and arrived into the rescue underweight, malnourished, burdened with intestinal parasites, and heavily pregnant. Holly was a young, first time mom and presumed to have been impregnated at around 5 months of age in late October 2022 as Holly gave birth to the Santa reindeer kittens on Dec. 27, 2022. Holly had a steep learning curve with this mothering thing, but she was a wonderful mom after a very difficult delivery of 5 kittens. Holly's days of producing more kittens are over, and she is ready for her forever home. Holly has been introduced to several other adults and their children when her kittens were available for adoption, and she did well. Holly is best placed in a quieter home as the only cat, and allowed time to readjust to a new environment. Holly is sweet but timid since she had limited contact with other humans in her first few months of life, and was housed in unsanitary, unsafe and overcrowded conditions with way too many other cats. Spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, negative for both feline leukemia virus and feline immunodeficiency virus, litter box trained and microchipped. Selective in which adult cats that she is comfortable with, but probably could be paired with a kitten under 3-4 months of age. Unknown with dogs.
