Holly – Tortoiseshell Domestic Short Hair. She was rescued from a small space in our backyard wall on December 1, 2023 when she was about 4 weeks old. From that time, Holly has showed her siblings what it looks like to be a leader of the litter. Holly was the first to use the litter box without any coaching. She was the first to eat solid food. She lives up to the reputation of a Tortie in that she has a ‘tood’ of confidence. She runs the fastest, jumps the farthest and plays the longest of her siblings. She invented the game of chase and tackle with her siblings and loves to play it especially with Nicky. He would make a wonderful companion for her and I recommend adopting both of them. You know, the best toy for a kitten is another kitten! Holly also loves to chase the laser light across the house and does this with great speed and agility. She is also very friendly and loves to snuggle. When she tires, she will curl up in your lap and fall asleep. If you are laying down in bed, on your side, she will curl up on your hip, as a vantage point, and watch over her siblings who are curled up around her on the bed. She gets along well with adult cats. She has not been exposed to dogs or other pets. She has been examined by our veterinarian, Dr. Mike Kavenagh, Saddleback Animal Hospital. He said Holly is in good health. She tested negative for feline viruses and parasites. She received the topical flea treatment, Revolution, in December 2023. Holly was spayed March 11 and microchipped. She is strictly an indoor kitten and would make a wonderful pet. This is a courtesy post for a private party.
