My Story

Hobbs is a spirited little chonk of love. Hobbs's story: this little guy was found with a nasty wound on his leg. Thankfully a good samaratin took it upon themselves to bring him to a hospital where he was stitched up. Because the wound was of unknown origin he was required to be quarantined for 4 months. Due to the trauma of the entire ordeal he had a bit of a grumpy disposition towards humans and was a bit confused about whether he liked them or not. Thankfully he was placed with a wonderful foster who bribed him over to the dark.. I mean, better side. Hobbs has since come around and now has a part time job as a leg duster.. because he loves to rub up on his foster's legs. He is very food motivated and will happily let you know by meowing at you when he is looking for a lil treat. He loves to play with his toys, especially the mice ones and will make air biscuits when getting head rubs. He likes to flop around on the ground when looking for attention. Hobbs has a partial tear on the knee where he had his injury. He may have occasional pain flare ups that will need a treatment of an anti-inflammatory and pain medication if it does happen. The ideal home for Hobbs will be with someone who will appreciate his silly personality and will be able to provide him with lots of playtime and pets. He would do best with a person who understands cat body language and is able to pick up on his cues, whether that be pain or over-stimulation.
