My Story

Hobbs is a mature declawed brown tabby with some ruddy Abyssinian traits. He absolutely adores his brother Calvin. He was given to FCRT by his previous owners who rescued them from a Chicago shelter when they were 3 months old. They had to give them to us to find them a forever home because they had to move. He was very sad but still very very affectionate when he came to FCRT. He had never had to stay in a cage before and didn't much care for the experience. He tried very hard to help his brother feel better when he went to his foster home. He is a very sweet, loving, affectionate and a very talkative boy. He can hold complete conversations with his foster mom. He and his brother love attention and come wrapping around their foster moms legs when she spends time with them. They aren't use to being around other cats or dogs and so it would probably be best if only these two were in your home. They grew up with a family and children but in these older years they would prefer a nice quiet home. They haven't had a litter box problem but they are very tall boys and may accidentally miss should the litter box not be tall enough for them. They have no problems with a covered litter box to make sure no messes accidentally happen. As they didn't have a good experience at the adoption fairs it would be best to come and meet them at their foster moms home. Hobbs would love to be kept with his brother Calvin as they have only had each other their entire lives. They love to curl up and sleep together.
