Hijinks (aka Jinx)

Hijinks, aka Jinx, is energetic and always up to something. She is a busy, busy bee! She came into foster care as a scared and timid girl, but with the patient and gentle work of her foster mom and help from her confident cat friends, she has made huge progress and is blossoming into a sweet and CHATTY little kitty! Jinx recently learned she loves to cuddle in bed with you. She keeps tabs on everyone by running around the house to greet each human and cat with chirps and trills and, of course, a friendly headbutt to get some pets and scratches! One of her favorite places to hang out with her foster mom is in the kitchen... which makes sense since FOOD is the way to Jinx's heart! Food motivation has proven very helpful in her journey to be more outgoing. When you call her (or open the fridge), in a flash, she's at your feet to get some pets or some treats. If she isn't busy carrying her toys from room to room, she enjoys perching on her window seat in the cat tree and chatting with the birds. She is playful and enjoys a game of Racer Tag(she is always the fastest!) or a easy going wrestling match with her foster siblings. Jinx is still a little shy and hides with loud noises or fast movements, but she is continuously being challenged and exposed to lots of different stimuli, including some friendly dogs, to help make the transition to a forever home more successful. Jinx is currently working on being picked up, and is showing promise. She will make a loyal and loving companion for a calm and quiet, and present household with lots of toys and another cat (or cats) to play with.
