Meet the mighty hero Hercules! About 3.5 months old. Hercules is a sweet ball of fur who loves to sunbathe and birdwatch from the window. Throughout the day, you can find him chasing the resident cats and wrestling his brother Percy. With so much energy, his favorite toys include a feathered wand or his catnip filled carrot. He can spend hours throwing and chasing! As he grows, it has been so rewarding to see his personality shine through. Even though he is a kitten and full of energy, he can also be very mellow and peaceful. When he's not running around chasing the other kitties, you will certainly find him under your blanket or laundry basket! he feels safe in cozy spaces with his humans scent. Hercules does wonderful with other kitties, he loves to cuddle and nap with the resident cats. Currently in foster care in Whittier. Foster-to-adopt is always an available option and recommendation. All Del Gato kitties are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLv, dewormed, and flea treated prior to adoption. Thank you! ____________________ Del Gato Rescue is a small 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue based in Los Angeles, CA. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue. We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized. We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis. When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family. If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.
