Hendricks

Hello there! My name is Hendricks, and I'm in search of my furever home. My sister, Stevie, and I have found our way back to BCHS since our owner could no longer care for us. While my sudden change in surroundings was a little scary, and I was pretty confused at first, I am slowly but surely coming out of my shell and growing into the best cat I can be. My time in the social cat room here at BCHS has done wonders, as I have been able to learn on my own terms that people (even strangers!) aren't quite so scary, after all. One thing you'll quickly notice about me is that I love playtime. I might be shy, but dangle a toy in front of me and I will go crazy, batting it around like I'm a kitten all over again. Crinkle balls, feather toys, mice - you name the toy, I'm all in! While I’m still getting used to pets, snuggles, and all types of human companionship, I’m very interested, and will gladly nudge you with my head whenever I want attention. With just a little bit of time, I will surely be a master of affection. I've had a challenging and chaotic two years, but with time, understanding, and a home to call my own, I promise to be your new pal, and offer you that touch of excitement and love that you are currently missing out on.
