Hi, my name is Helen and I'm a blind, older lady (12ish).... but don't let the blindness fool you! I can get around just as well as any seeing kitty and I'm still very active even though I'm older, including jumping up on the bed/couch, playing with toys, etc! I love to snuggle in bed with my foster and would be a great cuddly companion. My "sister", Barbara (10-12 years old), and I lived for a very long time with our loving family until financial troubles hit and they were evicted and we all lived in the car for a while. Our family decided that the best way they could care for us was to try and find a new home and Doe Eyes has been giving us a place to live until we can find a family or 2 to love us just as much as our last one. I could be adopted as a solo kitty, or with my "sister" as we get along well, but we are not attached at the hip and also like to just do our own thing. I would love to find a chill home to live out the rest of my golden years where I can still get snuggles, and have a scratching post and play, but maybe just don't rearrange the furniture on me all the time, eh?
