Hazel & Maisie were surrendered to the minot city pound out of desperation from an owner who moved to a non-animal friendly apartment. The owner risked eviction from their brand new apartment and was prepared to hide them if need be. We appreciate the owner's diligence in making sure the cats had a safe placement even though it put their own housing at risk. Hazel recently had a vet appointment for missing patches of fur to an unknown cause and cold symptoms. She was treated for an upper respiratory infection, a bacterial skin infection, as well as clostridium (more bacteria!). She is on the mend and scheduled for spay march 14th.

1. Submit your electronic form
2. An AEL representative will contact you to schedule a phone call or adoption counsel session.
3. Come to your adoption counsel session to meet the pet you're interested in and ready to take them home with you (dependent on the pet, some need more than one meet)
4. If the pet is determined to be a good fit with your family by both you and the AEL representative, you will sign your contract, submit your adoption payment, and take your new friend home!
