Hazel

Say hello to little Hazel, our current mascot of the Greece Ridge Mall! This young lady had been living mostly outdoors in the city, but was brought to Lollypop Farm because she was too intimidating to the dogs in the neighborhood (true story!). For that reason, she would probably do best in a home with no dogs. However, she has been known to do well with cats! Another ideal quality in Hazel's forever home would be to have indoor and outdoor access. This princess deserves all the comforts of an indoor home where she can get as much attention as she wants, but also be able to go outside and play safely. Some of Hazel's favorite hobbies include hunting bugs and lounging on patio furniture. She loves getting attention from humans, but will also let you know when she's reached her limit. The last important thing to know about Hazel is that our vets believe that she has a mild case of Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This is a congenital condition that usually results from a viral infection before birth. It causes her to move a little wobbly, but we think this just gives her more character. Don't worry though, she still gets around just fine on her own! She'll just need her adopter to keep a close eye on her during outdoor time, as well as regular vet visits to monitor her condition as she ages. However, we don't anticipate that this condition will affect her lifespan. If you're seeking a charming young feline companion, Hazel is waiting for you at the Greece Ridge Mall!
